The Court accepted and joined an initial injunction to immediately stop the so-called illegal conduct.
The FTC filed an amended issue, alleging that Payday Financial improperly filed matches within the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribal Court to garnish the wages of customers who fall behind within their re payments. The amended problem FTC charged matches against customers had been unfair and contract language about tribal court is misleading. The complaint that is original stated that the defendants had illegally attempted to garnish customersвЂ™ wages with no court order.
